Much better than using a tiny thin hook! They seem very well made and the case is perfect to keep them all safe and secure. The addition of stitch markers and needles was nice, but the needles are a bit large for thread (probably the same needles that get sent with larger sets) but they will still be useful for other projects with worsted yarns.Reply from: wallyswoolies- Feedback replied by seller wallyswoolies.- Feedback replied by seller wallyswoolies.Just as an fyi..the smallest hook size in standard steel thread crochet hooks in US patterns is 0.6mm, this set has one smaller than that at 0.5mm. It is generally recommended to use a 3.5mm hook or above for worsted weight yarn.
