    Good reel, but...

    Not as effortless when retrieving line as price range competitors made by Shimano/Daiwa. Solidly built, looks and feels more solid than a BG or Spheros SW. But the BG is a better reel in my opinion, due to its smoothness and light retrieval. The Spinfisher VI offers better sealing, which is a definite plus when surf fishing in rough conditions. But then, I prefer the Spheros SW when I need a sealed reel, also due to its lighter feeling retrieval effort.

    Best small reel out there

    Without a doubt the best small reel ever. I filled it with 15lb braid and have caught everything on it Spanish to puppy drum, croakers to pompano. My new favorite reel.
