When received, it was very difficult to turn by hand. I shared my concern, and he called to re-assure me that his shop verified it was a good unit and that it would loosen up when filled with gear oil (it had been sitting for a while). He responded to multiple messages, and since getting it installed, I verified that the bearings were smooth compared to the old differential using a mechanic's stethoscope.
