    Synopsis

Fisher Forbes columnist Widely respected and admired, Philip Fisher is among the most influential investors of all time. His investment philosophies, introduced almost forty years ago, are not only studied and applied by today's finance professionals, but are also regarded by many as gospel. He recorded these philosophies in Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits, a book considered invaluable reading when it was first published in 1958, and a must-read today. Wow! I received the book I purchased in record time! It arrived in better than expected condition (was listed as Acceptable, but I would call it New). Was packaged securely for mailing. The price was the best I had seen and I couldn't be happier that I decided to buy it. I would definitely buy from this seller again, and would recommend them to others, as well. Thank you, seller!

These Goodwill book sellers always have a good selection of books and the quality and condition of the book you receive is as good if not better than described. Shipping is fast and secure - the book arrives in a thick kraft envelope so nothing can hurt it during shipping. Thanks again for delivering such good value for the price!

    • Honest Assessment

The information in this book, despite how long ago it was written, is still relevant today with very few exceptions. Candidly, even though it is probably one of the most poorly written books I've ever read (the author himself even apologized for it at the end of his introduction/preface) I still rate it very highly as to the content. For me, it is far more important that the content be good rather than the writing style. The man was an investor, not David Hume. That considered, I unreservedly recommend this book to anyone trying to get a grasp on equities. The information stands the test of time in my opinion.
