    Honeywell t'stat

    I have worked in HVAC for 53 years. This is the best honeywell has produced which is the best user friendly model. I started out with the T60 models. Then the T7400's It is the easiest to explain to a customer. Touch screen is easy to read and adjust. I recommend it every time I sell new AC or heating unit.

    Same part numbers, one inferior one what I expected?

    I installed one that had several prongs which had to be aligned perfectly and inserted into the base. I bent the s1 prong which broke the circuit board connection. I ordered the exact same model, but it was different and didn’t have the extending prongs to align. I installed it without any problems. I am confused why they were so different, the part numbers on the boxes were the same. What’s going on with Honeywell? Very disappointed!

    Good Price with Good Features

    Just replaced my brand new Lenox thermostat with this Vision Pro thermostat. Had plenty of problems with the Lenox maintaining the set temperature. The Vision Pro thermostat does a good job of maintaining the set temperature. It is easy to program and has a lot of good features that I use. It lacks any good documentation on the installer set up features as the latest PDF information is not current for some of the set up choices. As I have a dual fuel set up with a heat pump and oil backup, I was forced to use the COMFORT setting (even though the manual says that it is not an option) instead of the DROOP (spelled correctly) setting. I set the DROOP setting to 2 degrees so that the backup heat would come on when the thermostat was set two degrees higher than the room temperature and ...

    This redlink device does exactly what it is supposed to do... Converts a non-wifi thermostat into a wifi one (only if the thermo is redlink compatible) Very happy and easy to use.
