Product Information

Kate Burns (Hershey) has just left her husband and been fired from her job. However, though she has cast off the things that she thought were dragging her down, Kate still feels depressed. Jumping into a cab on impulse, she instructs the driver to go to the airport, but when they arrive, Kate tells the man to keep going. Eventually, she and the driver, Darshan, realize that they have similar problems and end up driving across the US, talking and trying to face their pasts. An absorbing and moving drama, DROWNING ON DRY LAND features standout performances by Ms. Hershey and Mr. Andrews.

    The Unspoken "R" rating

    I found this film very boring. The best part of the entire movie was the background scenery. I would say the "R" rating is spot on for "ROTTEN". I'm wish I had only wasted $ on it because the wasted hour and a half I can't possibly get back. It does not deserve the "STAR" I gave it, but that was the least I could submit.
