    Worked for my purpose

    After my original key fob wore out, I was in a position where the key and electronics still worked, but the back of the old fob couldn't be attached to the front. I ordered this shell to get the back and screw. These worked for my need and made my fob 90% as good as new. The finish of the material is a little different from the original and it lacks the "H" logo but that makes no difference to me. For the price, I'm very satisfied! My alternative was to have Honda make me a new key.

    Does what it does

    This is not a component that requires high technology but it is well made and suited my task well. I wanted to replace a bad key and simply took the electronics out of that key and put them in this case. Note that the key still has to be cut and programmed and that will cost you around $70. I cut the key off of this case and use it as a fob that I attached on my keychain to the valet key that came with the car when new. Perhaps that is hard to follow but the bottom line is that it does what it is supposed to do.

    Exactly what I was looking for.

    This is of course not an OEM key cover, but it's virtually identical. The plastic doesn't feel as substantial as the original, but for the price this is an excellent value. Since the guts of the key were ok., all I had to do was take it to a kwikey to have them make the key for $10.00. So basically a new key for about $15.00.
