- n***n (327)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseOnly hiccup was the molded into plastic key blank, have to find a manual keymaker BUT 9 out of 10 won't cut the key because they didn't sell the blank to you so they can't guarantee it or cut it for safety reasons. After a LOT of running around finally found one willing to do it! He didn't even charge me! (Cuz I brought my own blank). Xferred remote guts from my old broken shell, Fits and Works great! Key works great as well. Better design than original, key no longer held by just 2 posts!

The locksmith told me that newer models of the Rav 4’s have the chip made into the remote control circuit box that also has to be put in the new key housing. No big deal, just let the locksmith do it all for you. Locksmith charged around 6.00 dollars to do one key.
