    Cool utility knife. Love it!

    This knife is unique, a throwback to ages gone by, a reminder that modern isn't always better. This is a simple knife. It hides unobtrusively in my front pocket and doesn't take up much space. It cuts when I need it to and is easy to sharpen. It has a utilitarian appearance rather than a tacti-cool, fear-inducing one. It looks pretty if you avoid scratching up the brass. I find it useful for the occaisonal cutting tasks I encounter day-to-day. Want a clip? This doesn't have one. Want G10 scales? Look elsewhere. One-handed opening? Wrong knife. Want to take it apart? No screws, man. Want a super steel? This one has a plain old C75 carbon steel blade. It isn't even stainless! Some of these features are nice, even required for some uses.     German quality at its best. Nice brushed brass finish and hair popping sharp. Carbon steel holds an edge and is easy to touch up. Put a forced patina on it with white vinegar and the darkened blade really stands out! Centering of the blade was good and blade has no side to side or up and down movement. Locks solid and closes with a decent snap. Otter logo and stamping were pronounced and centered. Very pleased.
