    Lady T's "Passion Play" Doesn't Play Around

    Released in 1994 on Teena's independent label having left Epic after disappointing sales on the previous LP, Ivory. Another outstanding recording and material as usual. If you are a Lady T fan and missed this CD, then I highly recommend acquiring it for your library. Considered by many as one of her best. I especially enjoy her cover of the Linda Jones classic, "Hypnotized." Other favorites include the title track, "Slow Grind", "Smooth Tip" and "Breakfast in Bed."

    A little known gem from the Lady T

    A mid 90s album released on her own label which did not have the support of a major label and as a result did not receive the recognition it deserves but this is Teena Marie at her very best. I feel privileged to have obtained a copy of this rare masterpiece.
