    Beach Cruiser Brakes

    The right size for a beach cruiser with 26 x 2.125 fat tires. Big enough to reach around the fender and tire. You may have to remove the brake pads to get the wheel on or off but the pads are easy to put back on. Comes with long and short mounting bolts for the front or rear wheel. I had to drill a .240" hole through the front fork because the bike didn't have front brakes. Installation took about one hour. The rear coaster brake wasn't enough and now the bike has good brakes front and rear. I would like the brake lever to be longer as it's only long enough for two or three fingers.

    Good upgrade for a coaster brake bike

    Good aftermarket upgrade. I have a beach cruiser with a coaster brake that always felt a bit anemic. I installed this caliper set in less than 20 minutes and it mage a HUGE improvement on the braking of the bicycle- wish I had done it years ago. Most of the braking power is on the front, so it makes sense to have a brake on that wheel. Between the coaster brake and this front caliper kit, the bike makes very positive stops now. They aren't the best on the market, but it is a very good kit for the price.
