    Lenovo's top of the line in 2011

    Good good business or light gaming system. Upgradable, easily worked on, and Lenovo utilites are available to help maintain the system. Camera, keyboard light, stereo microphones, up to four communication methods available, SmartCard slot, SD card slot, Ultrabay for the DVD/CD burner, a second hard drive, a battery, etc., and easily removable for swapping hardware. Monitor is 1600x900 HD+ and is sharp without ghosting or noticeable hot/cool spots. Blacks are very black and colors are vivid with sharp images. Audio is where most laptops fall short and this one is no exception though it is noticeably better than the T500 or T510. Stereo speakers are standard in laptops these days and these have good clarity and separation, though if pushed they will distort. Bass response is not bad. I ...

    Lenovo Thinkpad works as expected

    This is the first laptop I've had, all others being desktop. This Lenovo is a workstation, as advertised, and as such it is large and relatively heavy, not for tooling around on campus. So far it has worked as expected and came loaded with Win10 which was one of my requirements. Otherwise, there was no bloatware loaded. It boots quickly, not needing a password. The video and audio are superb. A good buy on my part.

    Like this brand for many factors

    Fairly fast. Good design. Prefer Windows 7 over 10. Seems like less issues and easier to navigate. I've had sony,acer,toshiba, hp and dell and I prefer this brand.

    Absolutely amazing, had quite a few (welcomed) suprises

    When I got mine I had low expectations, and that it would come with a crappy hard drive with a small amount of space. However when I got it apparently it was actually a Samsung 128 gb SSD, and also had a Nvidia 4200M in it.
