Recommended for 45 70 as I am sure it will work as well for other calibers.
This simple but smart product made lubing my 45 70 bullets very easy. I am glad I gave it a try. I will recommend this to other shooters in my circle of friends that shoot 45 70 and reload their own ammo. We shoot traditional Blackpowder loads and you just can't buy them so reloading is our only real option. This kit makes it easy to load small batches as needed and where needed. Great instructions and easy to follow.This simple but smart product made lubing my 45 70 bullets very easy. I am glad I gave it a try. I will recommend this to other shooters in my circle of friends that shoot 45 70 and reload their own ammo. What Bob has done here is to take the mess and waste out of bullet lubing. I have been casting bullets for a couple decades and tried every lube technique, all are messy and wasteful of the lube. Not this kit. It pairs a couple of nice components together, along with a heat source to create a small batch, fast turn bullet lube system. But don't let the "small batch" statement fool you, the tray Bob provides heats and cools quickly, making it possible to lube as you cast...nice. I highly recommend it. Purty dang nice .
Purty dang nice . Going to open it up a bit to accomodate my overly large diameter Pedersoli Sharps bore diameter . So many dang projects I forgot to specify . No biggie. If possible Id find deeper lube pans for the big 540 + long range bullets so they could stack . Well as an option for those not shooting the 405 gr etc . Thanks for a much needed implement for those of us without time to diy . Very nice when you aint got enough daylight as it is. Yours trully a high country saddle tramp . 😁Purty dang nice . Good convenient product. Makes a messy task a little cleaner. The cost is reasonable. Yes you could mickey mouse something, but the pan itself is hard to find. Small but plenty big enough for your needs and fits perfectly on a warmer. I only wish that the cutter was sold separately. I don't need another pan but don't want to fool around making my own for different calibers. The seller seems very polite and caring.
