The site talks about length, not width. It may fit into a men's shoe length 8-12, but it will NOT stretch the width of shoe at all. BUT, it is a great value and will stretch the width if you are willing to contribute 5 minutes of your time. Attach the black knobs, then fold a paper towel several times and tape it to both sides (see photos). It works great. Used it on four pairs already.

During the the day, I got 2 notifications text + email telling me it was delivered. The reason why I didn't recognize it was because of the outstanding packing Souremax did on this order. The one I received suffered from a broken base plate, I contacted the seller and they went above and beyond by replacing the entire item with a new one even though all I needed was a new base.
