Product Information

This Westinghouse Saf-T-Brace allows people to safely install ceiling fans and lighting fixtures without accessing the attic. Instead, this mounting brace is meant to be installed through a 4-inch hole in a finished ceiling. It supports light fixtures of up to 150 pounds and ceiling fans of up to 70 pounds. The brace has three teeth to twist in and lock in the ceiling joists. It has a square tube that can easily be turned or adjusted.

    Great Product! Good Price

    If you need to mount a Ceiling Fan...This Is It!! We needed to re-mount a Ceiling Fan in our Mobile Home; the way it was originally mounted scared us, the way it wobbled. So, after researching the project, we determined that This Brace, made for "Post Construction" use, was the ideal support. It is fairly easy to install (nothing is really easy in a mobile home especially if you want it done safely & securely). The "Teeth" on This Support make it "Special" (compared to others we came upon in our pre-project research) the way they Bite/Lock Into the wood supports above the ceiling. Only a 4"-6" hole in ceiling is needed and the ceiling fan shroud, when mounted (or re-mounted in our case) easily covers it. Waited to Review this until we saw how it held up.
