    Decent tool but better tools available at lower price.

    I have had mixed results with this tool. Not all gases work well in this solder pen but you don't know that until you fill it and use it. Sometimes the gas flows around pilot port when its shut and can melt shielding. Sometimes the flame would be all over the outside and never heat the core element. I eventually replaced with Power Probe solder pen which has yeilded better results. Neither of the tools gives the overall heat on time they advertise. Supplied gases were from Zippo and then Matco tool brand from truck.

    Buy the best, with no regrets.

    Top of the line butane soldering iron. Fast heat up, I stay away from the piezo ignition ones, they always been a point of failure, for me . using a lighter is the way to go. Great product and a very good price.
