Three of the four sticks of memory work OK in my computer but the fourth stick was defective and did not work in any motherboard memory slot. I contacted the vendor and he quickly sent me one replacement stick of memory that does work in my motherboard. I had to try a few different combinations to get it to boot but it's working fine now and I used the other 8 GB in another old computer which works fine also. Really speeded up both machines a lot
