    Lack of remote

    Although the add clearly stated there was no remote included, I assumed I could record with the machine by using the function buttons on the machine itself. This is not the case. You have to have the remote control to perform the record function

    The recorder did work and the equipment ...

    The recorder did work and the equipment was in good condition. I had one problem, the pass-through signal on coax ports added some noise in the signal - it could be because it was a satellite signal. (newer technology from when the unit was manufactured). Still happy with the unit.
