      No nonsense tin opener

      This tin opener is a lot better than the more expensive modern openers which I was using, this has no problems with all tins something that I couldn't say for the newer types

      The Simple Butterfly Can Opener

      My mother used a can opener such as this one and I feel sure she had the same one all the while I was growing up. I have tried others but feel so much happier with the old reliable simple butterfly can opener (or tin opener as we used to call before we went all Americanised). I bought two because aged 65 I am hoping they last until I personally have no need for them. No wish to be morbid but, no doubt, my family will keep them working after I am long gone. I will take one on holiday with me as well, just in case where we are going has something more sophisticated and yet I will not like. Call me a fusspot but simple is sometimes the best. In the words of Paul Newman "Less is more" and if you know who he is then you must be about my age.

      easy to use and does an awesome job

      i would highly recommend it for this price you can't go wrong, so far had no problems with it and opened more then 10 cans, even if it does not last very long is 99p, but looks well built and solid made.

      Fab little opener
