Shipping was delayed (two months to get to Canada) due to local mail service strike (hello, Canada Post!). So instead of planned birthday gift it became New Year's present. Also, the wooden box arrived broken (see photos). I suspect it is also because of delayed shipping when the parcel got bounced around 1000 facilities.
