    Well worth the extra effort!

    It is a great replacement for the old chain and sprocket system mine came with. This is the new system used on 48" and 56" John Deere snowblowers. Installed relatively easy and I think it's a much better system. Gears running in lubricant is better than rusting chains on rusty sprockets.

    Fits perfectly. This is the way John Deere should have designed it initially.

    This is the way John Deere should have designed the auger drive in my snowblower initially. The initial design was very flawed. They fixed it with this drive and it works great.
