    Why did I wait so long?

    Every gun owner should have a set of these tools. I use to have a similar set but in metal and I was always worrying that I would scratch the finish on a weapon. NOT ANY MORE. Good selection of tips enable me to clean every nook and cranny of my hand guns and rifles. My old Armorer in the Army would be proud!

    Gun Cleaning Tools

    These are larger than I expected. I have some dental-type tools in my kit already and wanted something that wasn't as likely to scratch the finish. These definitely fit that bill. Nice sturdy black polymer approximately 50% larger than the stainless dental tools, but not so large that they don't fit into those little nooks and crannies that need to be scraped out every once in a while when you give your favorite toy a good deep cleaning. Good selection of different shaped tips for accessing hard to reach places. Had to trim up some of the mold-slag whatever you call it from around the tips and edges -- but that's just me. Most wouldn't even bother.

    Gunsmith picks

    Think dental picks for guns which is how I described them to a friend. This isn't on the requirement list for the gunsmith school my son is starting in the spring but when I saw them here I thought it would be a good idea. Never buy from the schools, always check Ebay & Amazon first. The only time we ever got books from the college bookstore was my oldest son's 1st semester & OUCH. The 2nd semester 1 of the assistants at my Vet told us to go to Grays across the road from campus & get used books which helped. We later learned to look online & I also got an email to rent online.

    Very easy to get into the small areas to get residue out and not have to worry about scratching metal surfaces. Different ends of each tool as well as the curves give one a lot of options. Speeds cleaning & improves cleaning.

    Handy tools that won't scratch your guns
