    Impressive all-terrain metal detector

    Wow, I'm totally impressed with this detector! I've used a White's DFX for a couple decades and love it. I've wanted to get into fresh water detecting for a while and the AT Pro's waterproof feature plus many positive reviews made my purchase an easy decision. So far, I have only used it for dry beach and dirt detecting with great results, but plan to hit the lakes and creeks soon. To get the most out of it's depth capabilities, I set it at Pro-Zero Mode and it goes surprisingly deep--even on small items. So, needless to say, I couldn't be any happier with this purchase.

    Lightweight with Heavyweight features. Very easy to use.

    Very good documentation came with the AT Pro. Very easy to understand and use out of the box. The AT Pro is light and very adjustable to fit the user. I especially like the beginner instructions and suggestions. The AT Pro is engineered for the serious hunters as well as the beginner. The display is clear and very easy to understand. The audio alerts are great when identifying what type of metal it has detected and the depth indicator is great. The deeper the target registers, the excitement level raises in anticipation of what is under there. I haven't had the opportunity to submerse it yet, so I can't say anything as to its performance in that respect. We look forward to using it as often as we can. Our son, 5 years, has his own small detector so when I pull out the AT Pro he is right ...

    Garrett AT Pro

    I wanted a very good metal detector for my first one so I did a little research and it kept coming up with the Garrett 300, 400 and AT Pro. I bought the AT Pro which is a little tough for a first metal detector but I like a good challenge and enjoy learning how to use it.

    AT Pro is a winner

    easy to operate and sensitive. Really like the custom scan that lets you limit the response to one of 10 metal return bands. So far limited experience with it, but compared my old ADS Groundhog it works a lot better. AA Batteries are a nice plus and life seems quite good. Instruction book says NiMH rechargeable batteries are OK Lots of Youtube out there to help you get kick started
