I bought a piece 300 x 300mm which is enough to make two of these, I hadn't expected the 1mm thick steel to be so hard to bend. Luckily I had a press I could use. If I was doing this again I would order the 0.6mm thick as that would be adequate, easier to work with and a better match for the original mesh in the grill. I hope this helps you.
