While this isn't a preamp costing thousands, it's a worthy choice that I promise you does not sound bad, or produce unwanted noise. This is a very nice sounding, clean, and warm preamp - definitely akin to others costing much more.

I hope that isn’t a problem. I ordered Russian 6J1P tubes to try as well. The preamplifier arrived quickly and was safely and nicely packaged. It runs quietly if you fiddle with your interconnects. I discovered I needed to adjust my cable coming out of the turntable. It, and not the Fosi, was creating a little noise. So - be thoughtful before you complain to Fosi.

I then purchased my 2nd BT30D pro with a bigger power supply after the Fosi CSR answered my inquiries. Unfortunately I received half of my order. I ordered The BT30D pro with the 48V 5A power supply but received the 32V 5A power supply. I messaged Fosi’s CSR and they sent me the right order it cost me postage which is supposed to be refunded. Still waiting on it.
