    Excellent for Display or Educational Demonstration

    If you are looking simply for a display piece or a demonstration piece for educational purposes, then this is an excellent (and much less expensive!) alternative to the authentic 1862 Henry Rifle. The wood stock is beautiful and the brass, although not polished and shiny, is well done. The lever action and spring loaded ammo chamber are very crisp and authentic feeling. Of course it does not contain the Henry engraving on the barrel, it is still a wonderful replica.

    Great, high quality, detailed gun, but the "2 - piece" design is a bad idea. It will loosen/ possibly separate when operated

    Good quality. Good action and feels real (no action compares to the Henry Mares Leg). Only problem is how the gun is pieced together (see pictures attached). Gun is designed in 2 pieces that are pressed together, with only light pressure from hands. When operating the action, the gun will "wobble" in the middle (where you hold your hand), thus creating the "eventual separation" of the gun into 2 pieces. Overall great quality for display. Do not recommend for regular operation for obvious reasons. If this was designed in "one piece", I would give 5 stars instead of 3.

    Great looking peice

    Just built a cabin and wanted a gun for over the fire place, but did not want my real Henry out where is could be used against me if someone were to break in. This replica was the perfect solution, look great, good lever action and weights right. Nobody has asked yet if it is real.
