Checked out from loical library and so good I needed my own copy.

I checked it out from local library and just had to have my own copy. It had distinct clear directions and even though I minored in applied art including weaving I needed a refresher after seeing my friends struggling in thier weaving and I knew I remembered solutions from my college classes. It all came back as I was reading this book so much that I am setting out a project right now.

  • Nice slightly advanced book

I have another card weaving book that has very simple patterns, this one gives you much nicer patterns and shows a lot more of what card weaving can do. I think it expands the "how to" a bit more than normal so you understand how card weaving works.

  • Good book for beginning card weaving

Between this book and You Tube videos, it's a great way to learn about card weaving. The beginning of the book explains the history of card weaving...interesting reading. I do wish that it had more patterns, but with the basics that are given, it's pretty easy to modify patterns so that you come up with your own designs.

  • Candace Crockett

Excellent book........easy to understand. Pictures are of wonderful quality. I recommend the book highly for learning the skill of card weaving. She touches a little on hex cards but does not have a lot of info on this.....however as for square cards and patterns associated with them, plenty of beginner, intermediate, and challenging patterns are provided.
