    It seems to do the intended job

    Does the baking soda make any difference between this cabin air filter and those without it? I don't know. And, truthfully, I can't tell. But the Fram Fresh Breeze does seem to do the intended job well, and it may be helping (??) to remove some of the smell of smoke in the vehicle from the previous owner, which was why I got the filter with the baking soda. This filter's a little more expensive than others and I don't know if it's worth the extra few dollars, but I don't feel like I wasted my money. In short, the Fresh Breeze filter does do the intended job well enough.

    Better than OEM filter

    I bought this filter to replace the stock filter in my 2015 Taurus SHO. This filter was better and more durable than the stock cabin filter in the car. As far as the scent goes, you can't tell any difference.
