So far I have not had any issues with any of them. All of them have appeared to be in "like new" condition, with no obvious marks or scratches. The drive comes in a plain box with a WD branded plastic carrier. The box is slightly larger than the box a store bought drive comes in, so don't stack neatly with store bought drives. Overall I find these good value.
