As an owner of many Benchmades I decided to investigate for my self. I found the packaging and literature to be consistent with my other Benchmade knifes, as well as the form, fit and function of the knife it self. I then weight the knife on a OHAUS triple beam scale and it weights 130.4 grams just as Benchmade says it should. If it's a counterfeit they did a hell of a job! AAA+++
