This barrel seems to fit alright on my 500, though there is a slight gap where it screws onto the magazine tube. I don’t expect it to impact performance. The finish on this barrel isn’t 1:1 with the receiver or magazine tube, but it’s close enough to not be distracting. One thing to note is the chokes aren’t labeled. I’d recommend marking them after you figure out which is which.

The seller recommended to use bore snake to clean and see if it is really rust and if it is, they would have the item replaced. After using the bore snake, it came off so I think it is just some dirt. The item is in good condition and would highly recommend it as well as the seller.

Made and shipped from China it was in a plastic bag and covered with a thick reddish colored grease to prevent oxidation on the ocean in a container. It's like cold bacon grease in texture. It's not the easiest thing to remove but the Hoppe blast clean did the trick. Swabbed the barrel a half dozen times then wiped down with Remoil. Put 175 rounds thru it the next day on a trap shoot with my Mossberg Maverick 88 and had zero issues. 100% recommend.
