the movie came up in a conversation, seen it long ago, and probably got it in the pile of dvds in the basement, but looked on ebay, found it, price was less than what it would have been a couple hours of diggings and re packing in totes. WIN for seller WIN for me. (and maybe I now have 2 copies)

  • Predictable and Disappointing

I had looked forward to seeing this movie but was disappointed by the utter banality of the story arc and plot points. Not only does the too predictable screenplay break no new ground but it also sadly telegraphs every note of the plot well in advance. As if you needed that help to see the wreck unfolding before your eyes. The cast, even the most minor bit, is excellent but they are misused and abused by the script and director. Even the setting, potentially grand and beautiful and isolated and lost, is treated almost as an afterthought. Watching this film is like going on a date you eagerly anticipated but then found yourself looking for an excuse to end the night early.

  • Very interesting movie

The movie is a little weird and some of the scenes are lengthy but they got the point across that the little boy is a psycho.
