The fittings are superb, the samegawa excellent, and the Hamon is outstanding. The tsuka’s Ito is slightly loose, but not overly so. I’m not sure if it’s silk or synthetic, but feels wonderful. It’s sharp if not overly so, but cuts paper as it should. The look and feel of this sword is one of quality that actually matches the price I paid for it. Great piece, well worth it!
