    Exactly as the original VW starter. Buy with confidence.

    So far so good. The starter looks to be very well built and fit perfectly on our 2006 VW Beetle Convertible. Now VW made it very nerve racking to change the starter but that's not the starters fault. I learned to speak mechanic while I was changing the starter but once installed, I turned the key and away I went. It's the wife's car and she has been driving it for a week now without issue. . Yes I would buy again based on what I know now. Time will tell about how long it will last but I was impressed with the quality of the design. It is every bit as well built as the $1,200.00 VW original equipment starter. Looks like to me it came from the same factory. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Bosch make the VW starter that they sell for a ridiculous price? So it looks like this one ...
