    The item I received was not like the one shown in the photo and did not fit my reel, seller argued with me that it was the correct one My vintage reel has a steel one. He sent me a brass one which was smaller.

    I tried for hours and days to help this buyer, he did not even take his old pinion out and put the new one in I sent him. his pinion was well worn, so yes the gears on it would measure smaller with a caliper. In the end I gave him a full refund without him even asking. As a seller I do my best no matter what
