Frame completely pipe-foam wrapped with soft tissue like wrapping (prior to foam wrap) over all original delicate dacals. Over-size box allowed rear wheel kept in place (with front protected by plastic beefy drop-out spacer) for shipping. original 1976 sew-up 32-spoke wheels (both) are still true !! .
