    Good for dry hands and arthritic pain

    Nice size. Easy to fit my hand up to my wrist into the unit. Wax warms up fairly quickly. Do be sure to follow directions and turn the heat down for about 25 minutes before use. It has really give me relief for my arthritic hands, as well as making skin soft and healthy. No more dry, cracking fingers!

    Not for physical therapy in my estimation

    Bought this thinking that the heat would help heal tendons, muscles, and joints, from a, badly, broken wrist, and hand. I had been using a microwaved rice bag, which works well, but I had thought, instead, that with hot wax, a plastic bag, and a mitt, that it would more evenly disburse heat. It takes a loooooong time (a couple of hours) to melt the wax, but I found that the heat is, initially, more evenly disbursed. However, even with the plastic bag and mitt, I was, very, surprised by how QUICKLY the heat disappeared. Back to the rice bag that stays hot, much, longer.

    Feels great but requires 24/7 heating if you want to use it without waiting.

    Great product but you have to be ready to go through the procedures for using it. If you are using it every day, you must keep it on 24/7 so the paraffin is always hot, melted and ready to use. Otherwise you'll need to wait 45 minutes each time you need to use it. It's not a fault with the unit, it's just how long paraffin takes to melt.

    Tire Chain Tensioners

    Not worth the money

    After having a Para Spa Select from Homedics about 10 or so years ago, this one is a sad replacement. No features except on and off. The temperature setting really serves no obvious purpose. Sorry I purchased this.
