    Nice hard drive

    Pros; Very good transfer speed for an external drive with large capacity and is big enough to have everything in one place without have to carry a bunch of drives around. Has a nice outer case with lots of vent holes to help with convection Cooling. Cons; At current pricing for drives it looks to be on par but, I think it should be in the 150-175 range. The other thing is that the drive is new to me and for such a large capacity I'm not sure of long term reliability.

    Not Worth It

    Noisy thumping noise. Takes long time to "wake up" from sleep mode. Goes into sleep mode all the time. Transfer speed not as fast as other HDs.

    Just in time

    This backup drive arrived just in time to save me from getting a Cloud backup. Super simple hardware hookup. Put the power supply in an AC socket, there is no power switch, put the USB 3 into the drive and a USB port in your computer/laptop. Preferably a USB 3 (for speed). There is fairly good documentation on getting the backup going. I had my backup going in 20 minutes.
