      Item arrived. Installed new batteries. Display immediately flashed "E" for error. I had previously owned this exact model for many years and am totally familiar with how it works. Error code should not be popping up from simply installing batteries. All other selection button functions were frozen. It's not how Panasonics work. They don't flash "E" from simply installing batteries. Various batteries all were tested. I don't think this unit was tested before being put up for sale.
