This wireless speaker is designed by Boombotix itself. It is constructed waterproof, so you are able to take it up to three feet deep. Track, Speakerphone, Siri Voice, Google voice and volume can be controlled. Furthermore there is an audio input and output via Bluetooth possible. In this speaker you can find a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. The charge only will take one hour and after it the runtime is approximately about 6 hours. Please notice that this depends on volume and other factors.

    Would not spend more than $30 on this

    UPDATE: I've since used this speaker a bit more, and I've really been upset with the sound quality and Bluetooth range. I cannot step more than 3 feet away without the music crackling and then speeding up to keep tempo. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend this to a friend Bought it on sale, was $150, and I paid $30. The description made it sound like the speaker and sub can be used anywhere, which is not the case. If you want to use the subwoofer, you have to have access to a power supply. Not sure why it can't just use the on board battery in the speaker. The music sounds very tinny and dry from the speaker itself, so the sub is a must have. Otherwise it's a good unit. Easy to use, and small enough to take with you.

    Cool speaker but...

    I liked the ability to store music on the speaker itself and the waterproof feature, which was the deciding factor in my order. There are a few down sides that overshadow those features, however. One is that the base unit, when powered and the speaker isn't docked, has annoying low level hum that is possibly due to the power supply having AC present on the DC output . Once the speaker is in place on the base unit, the AC hum disappears, but there is then a low level fluttering sound present that is not dependent on the volume setting. When program material of any significant volume is present, the noise is overpowered and can't be heard. The sound is very full when the speaker is docked, and volume levels are quite sufficient, but when out of the base unit the sound from the speaker alone ...

    Compact speaker packing BASS!

    This speaker is a great value. It's portable, durable, lightweight & sounds really good. The hexagon is the crisp highs & treble. The lower portion is all BASS & this thing shakes! You should secure it as it will actually move it's way off a table if you are not careful. But if it does, no fear, this thing is built to withstand a fall. Great for kids & Great for my apartment! Going to get more as gifts too! My first one had an issue, they took care of it & got me a new one quickly. They were courteous & professional. I highly recommend this for all ages. Need to get my son (12) one now because he keeps taking mine! 😀 Hope you are as happy as I am with it. Worth every penny!

    Powerful sound

    I got this to use at work and really don't want to use it there but want to keep it at home. I am really impressed with the sound quality as long as I don't dime the volume...then it distorts the bass. Otherwise it has great sound quality and tremendous bass response. Wish I would have bought two at the price I did.

    Great speaker at this price

    With the current price of these - In the $25.00 to $30.00 range and many with free shipping, you just can't go wrong. I use it wirelessly from my MacBook Pro while playing World of Warcraft, or listening to music. My wife uses hers with her iPhone to listen to music. At this price there are also great as Christmas gifts, so shop early, and buy a few to share.
