      Good but better sound in other Sony portable cd product

      I bought 2 Sony portable cd players. The D-E368CK plays crystal clear and seems to be skip proof. Sounds like a one-on-one performance it is so rich in sound and very quite in the music pauses and it has the G-protection too. The D-SJ301 is heavily durable so that might be a critical factor for most but the sound is not as rich and it does not have the total silence in the pauses of the music that the other has and of course it is very skip-proof! I was very lucky and bought the D-E368CK player for less than half the price of the "S2" player! I like the D-E368CK player because it is very light and much less bulky but it also may not survive hard use. I'll have to see how long it will last compared to the hardier "S2". It was easy to load batteries into both players. I like the side display ...

      I have another one of these CD players and love it. I saw this on ebay and the price was good so I decided to get this one. It works well except for the turn-off button. It is worn out and I have to push it several times to get it to turn off.

      Love it!

      This is my second S2 and it's great -- I wore the first one out! In these days when the world seems to be transitioning to music downloads, it's nice to have a piece of equipment that does justice to those oldie but goodie CDs. And the battery life on this baby is incredible!

      Versatile, durable, good battery life, and highly portable wherever you need to go.

      The Sony D-SJ301 S2 Sports CD Walkman is just what I was looking for after quite a bit of research. I needed a durable CD player in order to listen to several cds while I was out hiking, playing disc golf, and jogging outside. It needed to either have a strap for my hand, strap to my belt/backpack, or be portable enough to not get in the way. I also needed it to not skip and to have decent battery life. Most everything I listen to is on my phone, but for those things that are not, this has been great. It does everything I needed well and I fully recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, durable, and nice looking CD player.

      Old tech still rocks!

      These players are great, they sound great, easy to use. CDs don't skip with G Shock. Bass response is adjustable as well. Highly recommend. Now back to my Green Day CD 👍🏼(paired up with my Beats Studio HPs sounds killer)
