      Works even when dry

      I put this thing on dry just to see different ways to use it and, even dry it has cooling action! I don't know what kind of fabric it is (believe me, I tried to find out!), but it's great! I have a problem with headaches and don't like things around my throat, but it's loose enough not to bother me in either position and I didn't have any problem with it falling off while using it as a headband. I love it! Would definitely buy again!

      Too tight for comfort

      Bought two Mission Multi-cool headpieces from Lowe's about 5 years ago. (Wore one out and lost the other.) They were great, as the ones available now *might* be, except for one manufacturing flaw -- the elastic at both ends is way too tight. Can actually give me a headache if I wear it for more than about 30 minutes under my bicycle helmet. Also make a crease in the skin of my forehead that goes away only after about 15 minutes. If this happens to you, consider cutting off the elastic bands. This product review was originally 2 stars and NOT recommended; but I've changed it to 3 stars and recommended - but only if you consider REMOVING the too-tight elastic band if it's too tight for your head. Note: the fabric does not have a tendency to fray easily.

      A must have to beat the Summer heat

      The Summer is my least favorite season. I prefer Spring and Fall. So I’ll do anything I can to beat the heat. This product is is perfect for that purpose. It’s lightweight and simple to use. Keeps my head cooler than the surrounding air temperature. It’s also a bit stylish depending on how you wear it.
