    Promising....but the jury is still out.

    I've only had occasion to use the knee brace once since purchasing it, but it appears to work well. The only time I need the support it provides is when I'm walking (specifically hiking) and I've only had time to go on one hike since I bought the brace, so the jury is kind of still out, but from my initial experience it seems to prevent the pain that I had been getting in my knee. Maybe a part of that however, is that my knee got plenty of rest during winter when I was not able to go out for long hikes. For the price though, it's certainly worth trying.

    Lower attachement point an issue.

    The strap that goes around the top of the calf should have a longer Velcro span. The one we purchased was too large at the first attachment point and the second point was much too tight, practically cutting off all blood supply. The area between the two points would have been perfect, but has not fabric for the Velcro to attached to.

    Does What It Says!!

    Have used a few different knee compression sleeves and smaller braces. This one by far gives the best support but is much bulkier of course as well. I have severe OA in both knees and it is a godsend on the days when I can barely walk, I wear it pretty much all day even at home. Just ordered another for the right knee. If I am able to go back to work will be the real test as my job is very physical. As I was told by the Dr. and physical therapist those work just as good as some crazy expensive custom job they would have made for me. I wear loose fitting cargo pants tho not sure if you wore jeans they would fit over the brace. Like I said much bulkier. Great product and keeps me somewhat mobile to get things done!!!

    Mueller Knee Brace

    The Mueller Knee Brace is well made & allows you to wear dress pants & jeans with ease & no binding. The 2 problems that I find is that the Velcro hook & loop system closure is made wrong. The elastic tab & the contact surface on the brace when fitted to the knee are not installed so they meet & form a good lock. The contact surface on the brace it's self should go at least 3/4 of the way or more around the brace. The aluminum braces have sharp edges where they were sheared in the manufacturing process. All surfaces should be rounded & polished with no sharp edges to tear the brace material or scratch the wearer.

    Makes a bad knee better.

    Easy to put on and stays it place. Provides excellent support for aching knees. I've had an arthritic knee for some time now that is very stiff and sore all the time. With the knee brace I'm able to take part in physical activity for hours without discomfort. The brace doesn't limit mobility either. It's still easy to bend, stoop, and kneel.
