Ordered 9/27/24, Received 10/3/2024. Sub was DOA on arrival, will not power up at all. Confirmed power cable fine, fuses ok, power getting to switch. Really sucks because we bought this for a gig this weekend. Pending response from Audiosavings, reached out via email and phone but they are closed for Rosh Hashannah 10/4/2024. Will update my review/rating depending on outcome/resolution.

Want to add that "kick!" to your sound system!?.... This Rockville RBG18S 18" Subwoofer is the big brother to the Rockville RBG12S and brother does it rock! Don't let the low cost fool you, this really packs a "punch!". This speaker is constructed with 5/8” 7-layer birch plywood, then covered with black carpet with black metal corners. This speaker weights 84Lbs. but It has built-in carrying handles with heavy-duty locking wheel casters that make it a breeze to move it about. Hooking up to it is convenient with the balanced XLR + TRS (1/4in) input jacks and has balanced XLR thru/output jacks for parallel connections....hook up several and bring the walls down!.... The woofer is 18" and has a 120oz (7 1/2 lb) magnet with a 4" voice coil.....that'll get things thumping! The speaker will ... Want to add that "kick!" to your sound system!?.... The speaker will handle up to 2000 watts with a frequency response of 29Hz - 150Hz Features a DSP Digital Signal Processor with Boost or Extended Low Frequency Control Power-On and Signal Input LED Indicators, also has Clip Limiter Circuitry with an LED Indicator so you don't cook your speaker and turn it into an end table. :( There's a Passive heatsink with a heat sensitive variable speed auto fan for cooling everything inside when everything is heating up and rocking outside! Also has a built-in pole mount socket on the top center of the cabinet. The face is finished off with a custom metal grill to keep curious fingers out.... The cabinet measures 26.5" x 12.25" x 24.25" and weighs 84lbs. I'm so glad I purchased this Powered Subwoofer, I love the sound and impact it adds. I not only use it for listening to music, but I use it with my home theater system, it really brings to life and gives the full impact of explosions and crashes.....there was one movie where a Huey H1 helicopter came flying in, I had to look outside to see if one was actually landing on the roof! :D When I placed my order, this company was FANTASTIC and got it shipped out right away! It was at my door in 2 days! That's awesome!

You may think you don't need this RBG-18s,, you think you have good sound without it,, That's what I thought Until I bought it and now I want another one:) This Sub adds so much more to everything,, Live Band / Karaoke / DJ All music, it is truly amazing! , Adding this sub freed up much more volume on my mixer and amps,, this sub has a built in Amp and Crossover ( and much more) using the built in crossover I have much cleaner and clearer sound And much more volume when I need it out of my PA setup :) At half volume at my house I can easily hear my 15 inch Rockville main speakers and this RBG-18s powered sub over a block away ,, for the price I didn't think that was possible,, But Rockville pro Audio equipment really Rocks !! This sub is a pain in the arse to move to shows ( It weighs ... I uselely don't write reviews even though I read them before I purchase a lot of things, especially sound equipment. I felt that I needed to share what I thought about this product. This subwoofer is absolutely awesome!! The sound quality that comes from this sub is crystal clear, and really pushes out a very powerful thump! It is big, but most quality powered or even passive subwoofer are. It is built very sturdy with a handle on the back to roll it, and handles of the side for lifting. This product is a really good buy for the money, and think that anyone would be happy with it. I have one issue, the power switch in the back will not turn the speaker off, so I have to unplug the speaker when not in use because the fan is running. I plan on contacting seller about that. Have 2 of the RBG15's which do miracles for driving the heavy, low frequency bass pulses required for dance music, and we plug everyone in at different levels from the mix. A third one, the larger RGB18 to the center of the stage, will take it over the top.

Amazing Value
This unit was what I needed to fill in those missing subharmonics for my bass pedal system. I have a 1600 watt bass amp bi amped into a single 18" and a dual 10" cab. Even with the watts and the big 18" there was something missing. This unit gave it that last little bit of rumble I was looking for at an insanely low cost.
