I also felt the "rough cut" was a bit too rough based on the $400 price tag, but that is perhaps just my opinion. This stock is going to take many, many, many hours to finish. The vendor offered to inlet it for the action, but that was an extra $400 on top of money already spent. Sadly, all this for an heirloom gun that is sentimental and probably not worth 1/2 the cost of the replacement wood.Crescent Hammerless stock (#305337530444)
