    Great bit of kit for the UL camper

    This is light, robust and folds down VERY small. You can use this with woods, hexamine tabs or a trangia. A great bit of kid. No big gas canisters to store, limitless and free fuel source, assuming there is wood at hand, or carry a handful of hexi tabs as backup. It takes a bit longer to cook than a jetboil, but there is something attractive about slowing the pace down, going old school and lighting wood to boil your brew. Recommended.

    Great multifunctional stove!

    I purchased one be used as a wood burning stove, but found out that it works wonderfully with alcohol burners as well. Makes a great pot stand AND wind screen for any alcohol stove. Gets a really beautiful rainbow patina on it when used in this manner.

    Terrible design

    Will work with modification but the airflow is not adequate to burn wood in this stove. Burns great until a pot is placed over the stove. Takes on average 30-45 minutes for me to build the fire and boil 2 cups of water.
