    Works perfectly fine on my old tripod. Instead of it being bulky and overlapping the tripod. All you have now is the piece that actually inserts into the Tripod. Just makes it a little difficult until it breaks in to get In-N-Out. Because there's no overlap to grab, but I would absolutely buy this again and I recommend it.

    Ambico V0554 Quick Release Plate

    My brother-in-law gave me the tripod without the quick release plate. I bought one from somewhere else and it didn't fit although it said that it would for this particular make and model of tripod. Needless to say when I found this one and saw the picture, it made me realize that this is the one that I needed to get. It arrived in a couple of days and as soon as I got it popped right in and I've been shooting videos again. Thanks.

    Exactly what I hoped for.

    I have to rate it one star short of a full five, only for this reason. The plastic (or rubber) portion of the plate has an extremely strong and objectionable odor. I've never experienced this with any other plastic. It is strong enough to leave the odor on something else, such as the tripod head or your clothing; e.g. if you pocket it. Otherwise I'm happy with it.

    Fits perfectly on V3000 tripod

    This adapter seems to fit on very well on my Vivitar V3000 Tripod. It fits snugly and keeps my camera in place while shooting. The cork top also looks very nice.

    The missing link

    Bought a new-looking tripod for a really low price at my local Habitat For Humanity ReStore- and it was missing this little QR plate. Was glad to find the piece at a reasonable price and not have to make a mock-up. All aspects of this sale went smoothly, and I will certainly look for more photographic supplies here again.
