    Excellent kettle in new condition as listed. I already own some Cookmates pieces which I use with the Corning Electromatric base, including this kettle in used condition. I bought this one as a collector piece specifically because it came with the ORIGINAL BOX. However, rather than protect it by packing in a larger box with packing material, seller damaged the 60 year-old box by pasting white paper onto it and shipping as is. Collectors value original boxes! Hence, one star off for condition.
