The next step up is the expensive military grade night vision devices which use analog light amplification tubes and the next step up after that is thermal. You can use this digital PVS-14 as a scope or mounted on a helmet. As advertised, this has a 2x fixed telescopic / narrow field of view monocular. For 1x, please see my other offers.

Especially when used in tandem with the IR taclight. To make a singular hand held device I opted to tape the two together and added a cardboard Can to the taclight for greatly reduced visible signature. Easily tracking critters @ 250 m . I highly recommend this Seller & Product for all your Secret Squirrel Mission fun. Airborne combat vet approved 👍 ATW Strike Hold!
