      Better than expected

      More than expected. The description didn't say anything but this was a complete kit. I thought it was just the shifter, but it included the Cable and the lock nut that runs around $6-7 by itself. So yes, I highly recommend it if you need one. Even if you don't need it right now, for the price it's worth it to have it handy when/if you do.
